Hey there I'm Emma from mmmEnglish!

There are a lot of reasons why our stress levels have been on the rise lately.

嘿,我是 Emma,欢迎来到美味英语频道!

我们的压力水平因为很多原因最近一直在上升。

Our lives are incredibly busy, full of information, ambition, problems and challenges to overcome.

For me,for you,for all of us,it is so important to recognise stress and to try and manage it.

我们的生活异常忙碌,信息爆炸,雄心慢慢,需要克服的问题和挑战。

关于大学生如何处理压力的英语作文,首次要分析当代大学生的现状,以及大学生压力产生的来源有哪些,然后结合社会现状,给出合理化的意见和建议。正文如下:Considering the great damage of overdue pressure。

对我,对你,对我们所有人来说,识别压力并尝试管理压力是非常重要的。

It's also really important to talk about it with others and so that is exactly what this lesson is gonna focus on,thirteen common English expressions to talk about stress.

So get your pens out,get ready to take some notes.

与其他人谈论压力也很重要,所以这正是本课的侧重点,十三个常用的谈论压力的英语表达。

请把笔拿出来,准备好做笔记吧。

I really want you to be thinking about how these expressions could apply to your life.

I&39;s get into it.

我真的很希望大家想一下这些表达方式如何适用于你的生活。

我会分享成语、动词、短语来帮助你解释并表达压力,那就让我们开始吧。

Like I said earlier,we all live pretty busy lives.

就像我之前说的,我们所有人都过着忙碌的生活。

We work, study, family, responsibility, not enough money, not enough time, not enough sleep.

All of these things.

I'm certain that you have felt stressed at some point.

我们工作,学习,家庭,责任,钱不够,时间不够,睡眠不足。所有这些东西。

我确定在某些时刻你肯定感到压力很大。

If not today, then yesterday or last week or maybe a few months ago and this is how we describe people when they're tired, anxious or grumpy because they just have too much going on.

We can feel stressed.

如果不是今天的话,可能是昨天,或上周,或几个月前,这就是我们用来描述人们疲倦,焦虑或脾气暴躁时的方式,因为他们的事情太多了。

我们会感到压力。

We can look stressed. We can be stressed.

我们看起来压力很大。我们可压力山大。

And it&39;s really odd to pronounce -ed as a T sound but that's a really common feature of English pronunciation.

发音是/strɛst/,不是/strɛsid/,而是/strɛst/。我知道 -ed 要发 t 的音很奇怪,但这是英语里面非常常见的一个发音特征。

When the consonant before -ed is an unvoiced sound like /s/. This is an unvoiced sound so -ed is then pronounced /t/.

当-ed之前的辅音是清音时,比如说/s/音。这是个清音,所以 -ed 会发生/t/的音。

Stressed.

This is true for the adjective and also for the past tense form of the verb &39; and I've got a whole pronunciation lesson about this actually, about past tense regular verbs.

压力山大。

形容词也是这样的,动词“stress”的过去时形式也是如此,我有一节关于这个的发音课,就是关于规则动词的过去时形式。

You can watch it up here if you're interested to learn a bit more about it.

But it&34;stressed out" and stressed out means exactly the same thing, the phrases are really interchangeable.

如果你感兴趣的话,想了解更多,那就去看看吧,就在这里。

但是,“stressed out”也很常见,它的意思是完全一样的,这些短语可以互换。

Stressed. Stressed out. I'm always stressed out at the end of the month when our accounts are due.

压力很大。压力很大。我总是在月底感到压力倍增,也就是我们的账户到期时。

Are you doing okay? You look a bit stressed.

你还好吗?你看起来有点点压力。

What's stressing you out? What is it that is stressing you out?

是什么让你感到压力?是什么事情让你感到压力?

We use this phrase in the past and the present to talk about what's causing stress, what creates stress.

For me,traffic always stresses me out.

我们会在过去和现在时使用这个短语,谈论造成压力的原因。

对我来说,交通总是让我感到压力。

Being in such a big crowd yesterday stressed me out. You're stressing me out!

昨天人太多了,我感到压力很大。你在给我压力!

I don't want to do it because I know it will stress me out.

So did you notice how with all of those examples,I was using them across tenses?

我不想这样做,因为我知道它会让我感到压力。

你是否注意到了在所有这些示例中,我是用了不同的时态吗?

It's a really useful expression to remember,to try and put into use.

Another synonym to describe how you&39;re stressed is to be or to feel burnt out.

这是一个非常有用的表达,试着去用一用它吧。

另一个用来形容当你有压力的时候自己的感受的同义词是“to be”或者是“to feel burnt out”。

So when you&39;re stressed because you&39;t have any energy left to do anything else,that&39;re burnt out.

By the end of final exams, both the teachers and the students are completely burnt out.

所以当你真的很累,你压力很大时,因为你努力太久了,你没有任何能量做其他事情,那时候你就精疲力尽了。

到期末考试结束时,两位老师和学生们完全精疲力尽了。

And you also hear the noun &39; used for that complete exhaustion. You always want to try and avoid burnout right by taking time off and relaxing a little.

你还会听到名词“倦怠”,表示完全精疲力尽。你总是想要通过抽出时间放松一下来尝试避免精疲力竭,压力的英文作文翻译。

I feel like I've just created this whole lesson to offer advice to myself.

Try to avoid burnout. Don't get stressed out.

写作思路:可以将自己对于减少压力的方法详细地介绍一下,例如,体育锻炼有助于健康,人们可以在生活中面对压力和困难更容易和轻松。中心要明确,避免语法错误。

我觉得我出这节课程是用来给自己提供建议的。尽量避免倦怠。不要压力山大。

Now when you&39;re thinking about them all the time,it&39;t focus and you're really mentally tired.

当你担心很多事情时,你知道你一直在考虑它们,这真的让人分心。你无法集中精力,精神上真的很疲惫。

That is when you have a lot on your mind.

Okay,so you know if you forget something really important or you find yourself not listening or not paying attention to someone who's talking to you, then this can be a really good way to excuse yourself.

那就是你心事重重的时候,压力的三大来源英语作文。

好吧,你知道你是否忘记了什么很重要的事情,或者是你发现自己没有在认真听,或者是没有把注意力放到跟和你说话的人身上,那么这可能是一个很好的借口。

Don&39;s got so much on his mind at the moment.

不要太把他说的话往心里去。他现在有点心事重重。

I&39;s just really stressed out. So a similar expression is &39; or &39;.

我相信他真的压力很大。

一个类似的表达是“have a lot”或“too much on your plate”,关于有无压力的英语作文。

So think about going to a buffet right and you've got your plate, you load up so much stuff onto that plate.

There's lots of delicious things that you want to try but you overdo it and everything starts spilling off the sides of the plate right.

想象一下你去自助餐吧,有个盘子,你往盘子里装了很多东西。

有很多你想尝试好吃的东西,但是你有点过了,所有的东西都开始从盘子的一边溢出来了。

So if someone asks you to do something extra, you know,on top of everything else you&34;I&39;t do it.

I&34; Are you sure you want to volunteer at the local church?

因此,如果有人要求你做一些额外的事情,你知道,除了你自己当天要做的事情,你甚至可以说:“对不起,我做不到。

我现在要做的事情太多了。”

你确定要在当地的教堂做志愿者吗?

You've already got so much on your plate.

So again, when you feel stressed because you&39;re under pressure.

你已经有很多事情要做了。

同样的,当你因为有压力的时候,因为有太多要做的事,或太多要承担的责任,那你就在承受着压力。

Okay you can use this phrase on its own without any further explanation.

You can say &39;t know what's wrong with him.

好的,你可以单独使用这个短语,不需要任何进一步的解释。

你可以说:“我不知道他怎么了。

I think he&34;

You don't need to explain more detail or you can be more specific and include an action.

我认为他的工作压力很大。”你无需解释更多细节,你也可以更具体一些,把行为包括进去。

You can say &39; you know to explain what is creating that stress and pressure. He's under pressure to get board approval by Wednesday.

你可以说“处于做某件事情的压力之中”,去解释造成压力的原因。

他承受着在星期三之前获得董事会批准的压力。

如何减少压力英语作文如下:Stress is a state of being upset that happens when we are under pressure. Both our feelings and our bodies get upset。

It's also really common to hear that someone put another person under pressure.

My boss has put me under a lot of pressure to present the results by Friday.

听到某人使另一个人承受压力是非常常见的。

老板让我在在星期五之前展示结果,给我增添了很多压力。

I just don't think we can do it. Do you feel under any pressure at the moment?

关于压力的作文如下。Stress is a very magical thing. It can not only encourage a person to move forward, but also crush a person. Some people are afraid of pressure, which may be innate fear。

我觉得我们无法做到。你目前感到有什么压力吗?

Is someone putting you under pressure? Tell me about it down in the comments below.

有人给你施加压力吗?在下面的评论中告诉我。

Okay so this is very similar to &39; but perhaps a little less formal, right.

If you&39;s a limited amount of time that you have to finish it in,so there's urgency, right?

好吧,这与“承受压力”非常相似,但也许没有那么正式。

如果你正“处于水泵之下”的话,大学生压力作文英语,一般的意思是你有一项特定的任务需要去做,并且你完成它时间有限,所以很紧急吧?

It&39;t be home by five tonight.

不只是你有很多工作要做,而且完成它的时间也很有限。

今晚五点之前我不会回家。

I'm under the pump to get this report finished today.

This expression has some great imagery.

我今天需要完成这份报告。这个表达很有画面性。

Directions: Stress is a natural part of modern life. In this part, you are required to write within 40 minutes a composition of no less than 200 words about "Stress in Modern Life" (现代生活中的压力)。

What happens if you burn a candle at both ends? Very quickly, there won't be any candle left, right?

如果蜡烛两端都燃烧会怎么样呢?

蜡烛很快就会烧完吧?

So if you&39;re probably feeling exhausted and very quickly,you&39;re still coping but right now you know that you can't continue to work at this rate for much longer, right?

You're burning the candle at both ends.

所以,如果你为了完成更多工作早起或晚睡的话,那么你可能就是在“从两端燃烧蜡烛”,你可能感到筋疲力尽,很快你就会完全耗尽去完成某个任务的精力和热情,所以当你有很多事情要做时,你还要继续应对,但是现在你知道你不能以这样的速度继续工作更长的时间的时候,这个表达是很有用的。

你正在过分地消耗自己。

Please try to take it easy over the weekend.

I&39;re burning the candle at both ends and we need you to perform at Monday's meeting.

请尝试在周末放松一下。我担心你在耗尽自己的能量,我们需要你在星期一的会议上作报告。

This is definitely not a good scenario when you overload your schedule and trying to finish everything but you completely exhaust yourself.

You burn yourself out by working too hard.

当你过度安排你的日程,尝试完成所有事情,但是你完全精疲力尽并不是什么很好的情境。

你工作过于努力,正在消耗自己。

That&39;re working yourself into the ground. Or you could say you&39;s the same thing.

你工作太拼命了。或者你可以说你太过拼命了,表达的是同样的意思。

And interestingly this expression is usually reflexive so the subject and the object are the same. We say:

有趣的是,这种表达通常是反身形式的,所以主语和宾语是相同的。

我们说:

I ran myself into the ground. Or he worked himself into the ground.

我太拼命了。或者是他工作太拼命了。

I know I got sick because I worked myself into the ground.

And that&39;re at breaking point.

我知道我生病了,因为我太拼命了。

那就是你要达到临界点的时候。

一些人承认压力似乎一直在增加。一定程度的压力对我们是有利的,但是过多的压力肯定是有害的,有时甚至可能损害我们的身体健康和体质。因此有必要知道如何减轻压力。

Oh no,you can tell that things are getting worse by the second here right?

This is bad when you've reached breaking point.

哦,不,你可以发现现在事情正变得越来越糟糕,对吗?

当你到达极限时,这是非常糟糕的。

It's that moment when the build-up of stress is so big inside of you that you break.

For me,this usually ends up in a whole lot of tears and stressful crying.

就在那一刻,内心积攒的压力实在是太多,以至于你无法忍受了。

对我来说,这通常会以很多眼泪和压力过大的哭泣而收场。

Can you think of the last time that you were at breaking point?

Hopefully,it&39;t happen too often but have you ever been at breaking point?

你能想起最后一次自己快要崩溃的时候吗?

希望不是最近,或者并不会经常发生,但是你是不是曾经有过这种接近崩溃的时刻?

Let me know about it. To come apart at the seams.

告诉我吧。崩溃。

This is another really fun idiom to imagine.

So imagine a stuffed toy,one that's been loved for many years.

这是大家可以想象的另一个非常有趣的习语。

想象一下一个毛绒玩具,它已经被喜欢了很多年了。

He's very worn out and the seams, the stitching starts to come undone, and the stuffing starts to come out.

You know that he's not going to last for much longer right,八年级下册英语作文,eventually the whole thing falls apart and that is the feeling behind this phrase.

它已经破烂不堪了,而且接缝处已经开始松开,里面塞的东西都开始露出来了。

它不能再持续更长的时间了,最终它完全分崩离析了,那就是这个短语背后的意思。

缓解压力英语作文:Now, the students' learning pressure is great, and after class life is a good medicine to relieve the pressure of learning. I have a very interesting extracurricular life。

Everything is falling apart.

Everything's going wrong.

Our customer complaints are up thirty per cent since our manager resigned.

一切都分崩离析了。一切都出错了。

自从我们的经理辞职之后,我们的客户投诉上升了30%。

Everything is coming apart at the seams. So you can use this expression in your home life, personal relationships and also at work as well.

范文如下:As everyone knows, stress is a natural part of everyday life and there is no way to avoid it.正如每个人都知道的,压力是日常生活中的自然部分,没有办法避免它。

一切都在分崩离析。因此,你可以在家庭生活中、人际关系以及在工作中都使用这种表达方式。

It's really versatile. To snap.

它的功能非常多样。崩溃,情绪失控。

This is a really great verb,it's a reaction to being stressed or under pressure right.

So stress sometimes causes us to lose control and we snap.

这是一个非常好的动词,是承受压力之后的反应。压力有时会导致我们失去控制,然后我们就会崩溃。

In an instant,we&39;re annoyed,we&39;re angry. And if we snap at someone,we yell at them usually without warning, usually it's quite unfair.

在一瞬间,我们不是平常的自己了,我们很生气,我们很沮丧,我们很愤怒。

如果我们对人气冲冲地说话的话,意思是我们对他们大喊大叫,而且是在没有任何警示的情况下,通常是相当不公平的。

Stop watching TV! You&39;m stressed out.

别看电视了!你一整天什么都没做。

减少压力可以采取下面的方法:第一,找一个信任的人,和他诉说一下你的压力。让他知道你的处境,同时,当你说出来之后,你自己也会感觉很轻松。第二,看搞笑的电影。去电影院或者家里看一部搞笑电影。

我气冲冲地对你说话,因为我压力很大。

I&39;ve just had a really long day.

对不起,我对你厉声说话了。我这一天过得太不容易了。

And an even more aggressive response would be &39;s head off'. Sounds dangerous.

而侵略性更强的反应是:“严厉斥责”。听起来很危险。

Of course it&39;s a great way to say that someone's really freaked out and lost control because of stress.

They&39;re frustrated, they yelled at someone who was probably innocent and not asking for it.

当然,表达的并不是文字的意思,但这是描述某人由于压力很大,所以大发雷霆,失去了控制。

他们很生气,他们很沮丧,他们可能对无辜的人大喊大叫,青少年的压力英语作文带翻译。

And it's like whoa, okay, calm down. My boss basically bit my head off when I tried to ask for an extension!

诚然,现代学生的考试压力很大。然而,对于如何应对压力,不同的人有不同的看法。Some insist on traveling, while others argue for listening to the music or even playing computer games. In my opinion。

好的,冷静一下。当我要求延期的时候,我的老板对我大发雷霆。

It was a bit unreasonable.

So I hope that this lesson wasn&39;re able to practise and explore this week.

这有点不合理。我希望本课对你而言不会造成太大的压力,也希望你确实学到了一些新的、有趣的表达,这周大家可以继续练习、探索这些表达。

Now I know that I shouldn't be getting you excited about seeing someone stressed but try to look out for this type of behaviour this week.

You know if you see your boss or a family member stressed out about something see if you can apply some of these expressions you know.

我知道我不应该让你看到某人压力很大而感到兴奋,但尝试一下,在这周内寻找一下这种类型的行为。

如果你看见老板或者是家人因为某些事情倍感压力,看看你能不能应用这些表达方式。

Keep a notepad handy,a journal, just write them down.

If you&39;s actually good stress relief to write down and to vent and to let all these things go but try to use some of these expressions as you do.

随身携带一个记事本,一本日记,把它们给写下来。

如果你也感到压力的话,把压力写下来、去发泄,把所有这些东西宣泄出来其实可以缓解压力,但是请尝试使用其中的某些表达式,关于压力的英语作文180字。
