教材分析

本节课的内容是人教版新目标英语八年级下册第一单元第1课时。主要让学生认知表示身体部位的单词以及部分疾病的表达方法,学会运用句型“What’s the matter with ...?What’s wrong with…?” 询问别人的健康状况,使用“I have a...He / She has a…”表述病痛。能针对健康问题运用句型“What should I /he/she do?”咨询,使用句型“You /He/She should...”给出合理化建议。

学情分析

教学目标设计

一、知识与能力 

1.学生能熟练掌握本节课有关身体部位和疾病的词汇:foot,初二英语unit1作文, neck, stomach, throat, fever, cough, toothache, sore back… 

2. 掌握询问健康问题、表述病痛、给出合理化建议的语言结构和交际用语: 

A:  What’s the matter with…?/ What’s wrong with…?/ What’s the trouble with …? 

B:  I have a...  He / She has a …           

A:  What should I / He / She do? 

B:  You / He / She should / shouldn't ...

3.能听懂并表演有关健康方面的对话。    

二、过程与方法

2.以学生为中心,开展Guessing game、Pair work、Role play等教学活动。 

3.使用图片和模拟场景进行教学,利用听力中的文字线索进行推测。

三、情感态度与价值观 

2. 让学生在描述身体病痛与给出合理化建议时,学会关心别人,增进友谊,培养学生关心他人的优秀品质。 

教学重难点设计

一、重点:由于本节课的话题是谈论健康,根据新课标要求,学生需掌握有关疾病的单词,八年级上册英语unit1作文带翻译,并能针对疾病提出合理化建议,英语初二第一单元作文人教版,因此本节课的教学重点设计如下:

1.Master the names of diseases.

2.Master the expressions of giving advice

My holiday My holiday was good.I stayed at home for sometime.I went to Tianyi Square and bought same games.But one day,my monther,my younger brother and I went to Tianyi digital square to buy games。

3.Talk about health problems by using “What’s the matter with ...?I have a....He / She has a…” and give advice by using “should,shouldn’t…”

二、难点:本节课的话题以前接触较少,学生知识储备有限,让他们在较短的时间内掌握较多的新单词有一定难度。再者,由于受生活经验的限制,在学生谈论如何给出合理化建议时会出现一定的困难,因此本节课的教学难点设置如下:

1. 能利用句型“What’s the matter with ...?What’s wrong with…?”

询问别人的健康状况,使用“I have a....He / She has a…”表述病痛。能针对健康问题运用句型“What should I /he/she do?”咨询,使用句型“You /He/She should...”给与合理化建议。

2. 预测、猜测、判断、推理等听力认知策略的掌握。

教学方法与学习策略设计

一、教学方法:

八年级下册英语作文范文篇一 One day of mine_我的一天 Today I was very happily today! In the morning,it was very fine! Then I climbed the mountain with family,the air on the mountain was very fresh。

1.视听教学法: 恰当运用多媒体进行辅助教学,提高课堂效率增加趣味性。

2.情景教学法: 以学生为中心,开展Role play,Guessing game,Pair work等英语教学活动。

3.任务型教学法: 任务型教学是通过英语教育让学生得到全面发展的有效方法,强调“做中学(learning by doing)”。本课时从学生的基本心理需求出发,明确任务,初二下册英语每个单元的作文,使学生在完成任务的过程中习得语言。

二、学习策略

八年级下册英语第一单元作文 Gina很胖,爱玩电脑,经常感觉不舒服,昨天她去看了医生。假设你是医生,请给他提出合理的建议。

《英语课程标准》在课程内容与目标中明确提出:学习策略是形成学生初步运用英语能力的一个重要方面,学习策略是可以培养的。所以,为了提高学习效率,发展学生自主学习的能力,根据本课时的课程特点,注重对学生进行以下几种学习策略的培养。

1.专心听讲做笔记

2.克服羞愧勤练习

3.明确要求与目标

4.正确评价要积极

教学过程设计

Step1. Leading-in and presentation of the teaching goals(导入新课和展示教学目标)

T:Hi,boys and girls! How are you today?

Ss: Fine, thank you. And you? 

T: I’m not feeling well. I have a sore back. Today we will learn something about health problems. The title of this unit is :“Unit1 What’s the matter?” Then show the teaching goals.

【设计说明】通过师生间的问候自然引出课题,然后展示教学目标。

Step2. Presentation of words about body parts (介绍身体部位)

1.The teacher shows the pictures about body parts on the PPT. Learn the new words about each part of the body. (arm, back, ear, eye, foot, hand, head, leg, mouth, neck, nose, stomach, tooth等 )

【设计说明】借用ppt图片教单词,具有直观、形象、生动的特点,能引起学生的兴趣,便于理解和记忆。

2.Game show:Touch Your Nose

Teacher gets the Ss to play a game of touching the body parts.

【设计说明】通过教师说出不同身体部位的单词,让学生进行相应的动作。师生互动游戏可以活跃课堂气氛,也加深了学生对词汇的记忆,进一步巩固了所学词汇。游戏活动不但使学生印象深刻而且能引起学生的学习兴趣。

Step4 Presentation of words about diseases (疾病词汇呈现)

T: I am not feeling well now. I am ill. (教师做打喷嚏动作)

T: Do you know the illness? What’s the matter with me?

(教师引导学生使用have a cold 来回答) 

紧接着用同样的方法指导学生学习并识记have a stomachache,have a sore back,英语八年级下册第一单元作文人教版,have a headache,have a toothache,have sore throat等。

【设计说明】老师在课堂上展示病状,唤起学生的好奇心,使其积极参与到教学活动中来,八下英语unit2的优秀作文。通过老师形象的肢体语言,引出有关疾病的单词。通过“你来比划我来猜”的游戏,使学生接受新知识,变教师单一讲授为师生互动,在交流互动中让学生习得知识。这样教学,既简单直观,又易于学生接受。

Step5 Work on 1b (完成1b)

Listen and look at the picture. Then number the names.

T: Now,Tony is in a hospital. There are many people there. Who are they? What’s the matter with the people?Now,let’s listen to the conversations.Then number the names.

【设计说明】听力认知策略包括预测、猜测、判断、推理等。通过完成听力任务b来检测学生对疾病的表达,提高学生的听力认知策略。

Step6 Work on 1c(完成1c)

Look at the pictures. What are the students’ problems? Make conversations.

T: Just now,we knew the words about our bodies. But sometimes our bodies may be ill. How do we ask and answer about the illness?

T: If you’re ill,but you can’t go to hospital. You can do something to make yourself feel better. What can you do if you have a cold? Let’s see who is a good doctor in our class. Ask and answer in pairs.

1.列出常见病痛,让学生使用目标语言,采用一二人称询问健康、表述病痛、给出建议。

【设计说明】利用图示疾病,八下英语一单元对话作文范文,运用目标语言,让学生使用第三人称练习询问健康、表述病痛、给出合理化建议,为后面的听力教学做准备。

Step7 Work on 2a and 2b(完成2a和2b)

2a.Listen and number the pictures in the order you hear them. 

T: Four Ss don’t come to school today. What’s the matter? What should they do? Now,let’s listen to the conversations with their parents. Then number the pictures in the order you hear. 

2b.Listen again. Match the problems with the advice. Then listen and check their answers.

【设计说明】通过听对话,再现各种疾病的名称和治疗建议,加深学生的理解,以巩固所学知识。

Step8 Work on 2c (完成2c)

Make conversations using the information in 2a and 2b. 

1.Let the students finish the conversation in 2c. 

A:What’s the matter? 

B:My head feels very hot. 

A:Maybe you have a fever.

B:What should I do?

A:You should take your temperature.

and it also giving me headache, so I could sleep last night. I could not go to school this morning, should I go to see a dentist, but I am very afraid of them。

2.Get the students to make more conversations using the

problems and advice in 2b. 

3.Work in pairs.

【设计说明】步骤1、2、3逐步放开,直到完全自由发挥,让学生用英语进行自由会话练习,加深了对目标语言的理解与运用,达到了做中学(learning by doing)的目的。

Step 9 Work on 2d (完成2d)

Finally,get the Ss to Role-play the conversation.

I am interested in collecting varies kinds of coins from ancient ones to recent foreign ones .I cultivate my habit since my primery school。
